Avis Budget Group is hiring a Master Mechanic to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles on-site in Kahului, Hawaii. You will perform warranty work and complex repairs across multiple brands, applying expert knowledge to ensure safety and reliability for customer journeys.

The role emphasizes mentoring other technicians, maintaining high-quality repairs, and contributing to a positive customer experience through vehicle readiness and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional auto repair experience.
• Strong ASE certifications (minimum 3) required.
• Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex automotive repairs, including warranty work, on a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, brakes, electrical, HVAC, and onboard computer systems.
• Serve as a technical resource for other technicians and support shop performance.
