Job summary

Connectly Recruiting seeks an experienced automotive technician for a Rochester Hills shop known for its dedicated, small team and long-standing community presence since 1992. The role offers a clear growth path from A-Level Technician to Lead Technician or Manager as the business expands.

Earn $45–$55/hour with weekly pay, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Benefits include PTO, paid holidays, health insurance, and paid ASE certifications; signing/retention bonus up to $5,000 is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical abilities.
• A-Level/Master-level mechanical skills.
• Transmission experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Your own professional tools.
• ASE certifications are preferred, but proven ability matters more than certificates.

Responsibilities

• Advanced vehicle diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
• Drivability concerns.
• Transmission diagnosis, repair, and replacement.
• Engine diagnosis and major mechanical repair.
• Complex repairs other technicians may not be equipped to handle.
• General A-Level automotive repair when needed.
