Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group in Rochester Hills seeks an experienced automotive technician to join a small, seasoned team. You’ll work on advanced diagnostics and complex repairs with real independence to diagnose and recommend the right repairs.

We offer a competitive hourly wage ($45–$55), a Monday–Friday schedule, paid time off, holidays, health benefits, and generous career growth through ASE testing and certifications paid by the shop. A signing/retention bonus up to $5,000 is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical abilities.
• A-Level / Master-level mechanical skills.
• Transmission experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Your own professional tools.
• ASE certifications are preferred, but proven ability matters more than certificates.

Responsibilities

• Advanced vehicle diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
• Drivability concerns.
• Transmission diagnosis, repair, and replacement.
• Engine diagnosis and major mechanical repair.
• Complex repairs other technicians may not be equipped to handle.
• General A-Level automotive repair when needed.
