MDS Staffing in Rochester Hills is seeking an experienced automotive technician to join our established shop. You’ll handle diagnostics and repairs with a focus on quality over speed, in a small, veteran team where your expertise truly matters and every case is a learning opportunity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical abilities.
• A-Level / Master-level mechanical skills.
• Transmission experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Your own professional tools.
• ASE certifications are preferred, but proven ability matters more than certificates.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
• Address drivability concerns and diagnose complex issues.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace transmissions.
• Perform major engine and mechanical repairs.
• Handle complex repairs beyond other technicians’ capabilities.
• Provide quality repairs with attention to detail.
