Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by accurately assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars while upholding our standards of speed, quality and customer excellence.

You will plan repairs, prepare cost estimates, use tools like cutting guns and plasma cutters, realign chassis, replace parts, weld and repaint, and inspect completed work to ensure it meets guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and interior parts as needed.
• Weld and refinish with factory-specified paint or equivalents.
• Ensure work orders are completed within labor guidelines and inspect finished work.
