Job summary

You will read engineering drawings, lay out layouts, install fasteners, and prepare subassemblies for final assembly.

Qualifications

• 10 years of major aircraft structural assembly experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and production documentation.
• Experience with rivets, bolts and fasteners used in aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex assembly tasks with extensive experience and judgment.
• Review production planning and expediting material flow as needed.
• Read work instructions, production planning, drawings, layouts and specs.
• Lay out dimensions, drill patterns, and install hardware on metal/composites.
• Assemble parts into subassemblies and final assemblies using hand tools.
• Inspect completed assemblies for conformance to specs and document processes.
