Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a Boeing subsidiary, is seeking an assembler in Tulsa, OK. You will manually assemble and align structural parts, drill, route, and fasten components using hand tools, while meeting quality requirements and following engineering instructions.

Candidates should have manufacturing experience and familiarity with precision measuring instruments. This union-represented role offers hourly pay with overtime potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to work any shift.
• Overtime may be required beyond 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week.
• Experience in manufacturing/production is preferred.
• Aerospace/aviation background is desirable.
• Knowledge of hand tools and precision measuring instruments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering requirements, prints, and work instructions to manufacture to quality requirements.
• Set up and perform manual assembly operations and related machine functions.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify parts.
• Assemble and mate structural parts by drilling, routing, and fastening with hand tools.
• Pass a skills demonstration as required.
• Utilize tooling in the assembly of components into sub-assemblies or end items.
• Ensure work complies with work instructions and specifications.
