Job summary

NORDAM in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Bonder Assistant to join the second shift and support the fabrication and bonding of metallic and composite parts for aircraft applications. You will learn production procedures, read work instructions, and assist in lay-out, prefitting and assembly of bonded assemblies while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Expect to grow skills in bonding processes and tooling use.

Qualifications

• Education: No formal education required; experience may substitute for the education requirement.
• Experience: Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Skills: Proficiency reading and interpreting work instructions and documenting results.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine developmental learning assignments and applies standard solutions to routine tasks.
• Assists in fabrication and bonding of metallic and composite parts using various materials.
• Assists in lay out, prefitting and assembly of bonded assemblies; prepares for bonding/ curing in presses, ovens, and autoclaves.
• Performs vacuum bagging for Autoclave cures up to 100 psi.
