Job summary

The Structures Company is seeking an Aircraft Structural Mechanic L3 for a 12-month contract in Tulsa, OK. You will interpret engineering requirements, set up manual assembly operations, and verify work against specifications with precision measuring tools.

Requirements include 10+ years in aerospace/mfg structural assembly, a High School Diploma or GED, and reading engineering docs. ITAR compliance is required; hands-on skills demonstration will be required.

Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on structural assembly experience in aerospace/manufacturing.
High school diploma or GED.
Proficiency with manual assembly operations and related machinery.
Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation and manufacturing work instructions.
U.S. Person (ITAR) required.

Responsibilities

Interpret engineering requirements, work orders, blueprints, sketches, and written/verbal instructions.
Set up and perform manual assembly operations and machine functions.
Use precision measuring instruments for inspection and verification.
Drill, ream, countersink, spot face, and install fasteners using hand-operated tools.
Utilize tooling for assembly of components into subassemblies or final products.
Verify work against instructions and engineering specifications; identify and report discrepancies.
Ensure proper certification of tools and equipment per procedures.
Perform tasks within defined schedules and timelines.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts and assist in training other team members.
Must successfully pass a hands-on skills demonstration.
