Job summary

RealTruck is seeking a Maintenance Technician at the Massillon, OH plant for the 2nd shift (Mon–Thu 3:00pm–2:00am & Fri 3:00pm–11:00pm). Pay includes a $2.00 shift differential.

The role performs preventive maintenance and repairs on plant equipment to keep production running and keeps areas equipped with necessary parts. You will troubleshoot, rebuild machinery, create tools to assist production, and perform basic electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and welding tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic electrical knowledge preferred.
• Basic fluid power experience (pneumatic and hydraulic) is a plus.
• Proficient using hand and power tools.
• Basic welding experience preferred.
• Basic computer and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Repairing assembly equipment.
• Completing preventative maintenance.
• Responding to work requests regarding repairs around the facility.
• Creates special tools to assist with production.
• Rebuilds machines, tools and heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoots equipment to determine repairs needed.
