Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulics, and plumbing systems.
• Proven experience repairing heavy industrial equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written; safety-focused.
• Adherence to GMPs and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operations to support equipment troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Perform scheduled maintenance during production downtime to keep equipment performing optimally.
• Troubleshoot and repair using mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills.
• Diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement repairs or part replacements.
• Minimize downtime through proactive maintenance and quick response to failures.
• Respond to production calls for emergency repairs during shifts.
• Read manuals, schematics, and work orders to complete tasks.
• Assist with general facility maintenance including carpentry and plumbing.
• Report faulty operations and safety concerns to supervision.
• Adhere to company policies, GMPs, and SOPs; maintain clean, organized work area.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
