Job summary

PaperTech in Findlay, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (4:00 pm - 12:00 am). You will set up and change over production machines, perform routine quality checks, and carry out preventive maintenance to keep lines running smoothly.

Responsibilities include repairing equipment, documenting work, stocking parts, and maintaining a clean, organized shop area. Overtime and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical prints is a plus.
• Ability to work in a multi-tasking, team environment with good communication.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Vocational or community college coursework related to maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and changeover production machines promptly.
• Perform routine checks, record findings, and adjust settings to maintain quality.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and minor machine repairs.
• Clean and organize machines and parts; replace worn components.
• Record damaged parts and install replacements.
• Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns and assist quick repairs.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed.
