Job summary

Case Farms is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Massillon Feedmill on 2nd shift. The role involves troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and supporting production lines to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, using diagnostic meters, and performing facility maintenance. Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least 1 year in manufacturing maintenance, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Food processing experience preferred.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and plumbing.
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Effective verbal and written communication; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

Partner with operations to support equipment troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.
Perform scheduled maintenance tasks during production downtime to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Use mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to troubleshoot and repair production equipment.
Diagnose equipment issues, determine root causes, and implement repairs or part replacements.
Minimize downtime through proactive and responsive maintenance.
Respond to production line calls and perform emergency repairs during hours.
Interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders to complete tasks accurately.
Assist with general facility maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, and infrastructure repairs.
Identify and report faulty operations, defective materials, and unusual situations to supervision.
