Job summary

Water's Edge Resort and Spa in Westbrook, CT seeks an experienced Nail Technician to join its spa team. You will perform manicures and pedicures in a luxurious setting, delivering a memorable guest experience.

Candidates must hold a CT Nail Tech license, uphold sanitation standards, and provide excellent customer service. Prior spa experience is preferred; 18+ years old. Compensation is a fixed commission rate plus gratuities, with minimum wage guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Current State of CT Nail Tech license.
• Prior experience as Nail Technician, Manicurist or similar preferred.
• Understanding of sanitation and sterilization standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent professional nail, hand and foot treatments.
• Inform and educate guests about nail care and wellness concerns.
• Actively promote spa treatments, services, promotions and discounts.
• Maintain proper sanitization procedures per spa policy and state law.
• Assist in front/back of house cleanliness and prep work.
• Communicate information to supervisors as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Water's Edge Resort and Spa is seeking an experienced Nail Technician to join our spa team. In our luxurious setting, skilled technicians deliver exceptional manicures and pedicures that create a memorable guest experience.

Candidates must have comprehensive nail-care knowledge, including basic hand and foot massage techniques and precise polish application. Strong customer service and sanitation skills are required, along with a willingness to train in the spa’s service protocols. Compensation is based on a fixed commission rate plus gratuities, with minimum wage earnings guaranteed.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent professional nail, hand and foot treatments.
• Inform and educate our guests about specific nail care and wellness concerns.
• Actively promote the spa, treatments, services including promotions and/or discounts available.
• Maintain proper sanitization procedure and cleanliness according to spa policy and state law.
• Assist in ensuring cleanliness of front of house and back of house areas, as well as assist in prep work and restocking.
• Communicate to supervisors in a timely manner necessary information that involves staff or guests in the spa.
• Other duties as assigned.
