Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Silicon Valley is seeking a Spa Therapist (On-Call) to join our luxury spa team. The role focuses on guest services, spa setup, and maintaining pristine treatment rooms to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma, a state massage/facial treatment license, and be fluent in English. Availability on Fridays and weekends and US work authorization are required for this on-call position.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Valid license to perform body massage and facial treatment as per state law.
• Must be available to work on Fridays and weekends.
• CPR, First Aid Certification preferred.
• Fluency in reading, writing and spoken English is required.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and maintain Spa including refreshments in pre-treatment and treatment areas.
• Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism; accommodate special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with Spa services.
• Assist guests to their appointments as they relate to Spa services.
• Ensure an adequate supply of all guest supplies and amenities within the treatment room and lounges and ensure immaculate presentation of these items.
• Ensure treatment rooms are fully stocked with linen and supplies at all times.
• Maintain clean work areas.
• Appropriately utilize reservation systems, maintenance records, and Guest profile database as vehicles of communication to ensure guest satisfaction with all services provided.
• Adhere to Four Seasons standards and massage and body treatment sequences of service.
• Properly prepare, operate, and clean/sanitize all equipment in the treatment rooms and Spa areas.
• Ensure compliance of daily, and opening/closing checklists by walking and ensuring all areas of treatment rooms are well maintained, stocked, and cleaned to ensure high quality presentation and repair of all equipment.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

The Opportunity:

Four Seasons is currently looking for a Spa Therapist (On-Call).

Essential function of the job (but are not limited to) :

Knowledge and Skills:

• This position is physical by nature and requires candidates to meet all of the essential functions of this position.
• Fluency in reading, writing and spoken English is required.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required for this role.
