Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Mass Tort Litigation Attorney for our Big Pine Key, FL office. The attorney will manage diverse litigation tasks, draft pleadings, handle discovery, and prepare for trials while coordinating with paralegals and case managers to ensure adherence to court orders and firm standards.

The role requires JD and active U.S. bar admission, plus strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• JD required from an accredited law school.
• Admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of state and federal civil procedure.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with complex litigation preferred.
• Experience mentoring and supervising others preferred.
• Experience using CM/ECF, PACER, Westlaw, and Litify.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute litigation strategies for mass tort cases
• Draft and file pleadings and substantive motions
• Ensure compliance with case management and scheduling orders
• Monitor and implement developments in coordinated proceedings
• Provide direction to paralegals and case managers on litigation tasks
• Identify and develop liability and damages proof
• Assess and recommend appropriate venues for filing
• Support settlement and resolution efforts
