Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Reno, NV is seeking a Mass Tort Litigation Attorney to join our team. The attorney will manage pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation, collaborating with paralegals and case managers to ensure compliance with court orders and firm standards.

A successful candidate will have strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and experience with CM/ECF, PACER, Westlaw, and Litify.

Qualifications

• JD degree required and bar admission in at least one state.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of state and federal civil procedure.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with judgment and discretion.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and litigation technology/tools.
• Experience with complex litigation preferred.
• Mentoring and supervising others preferred.
• Experience using CM/ECF, PACER, Westlaw, and Litify.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute litigation strategy for mass tort matters.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings and substantive motions.
• Ensure compliance with case management and scheduling orders.
• Monitor and implement developments in coordinated proceedings.
• Provide direction to paralegals and review their work product.
• Identify and develop liability and damages proof.
• Assess and recommend appropriate venue and jurisdiction for filing.
• Support settlement and resolution efforts.
