Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Mass Tort Litigation Associate Attorney in Sarasota, FL. The role covers drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and supporting trial preparation with leadership potential in coordinated proceedings.

The ideal candidate has a JD and bar admission in at least one state, plus strong organizational and analytical skills. Proficiency with CM/ECF, PACER, Westlaw, Litify, and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• JD required.
• Bar admission to at least one U.S. state bar required.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Working knowledge of state and federal civil procedure.

Responsibilities

• Develop litigation strategy for mass tort matters.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings and substantive motions.
• Ensure compliance with case management and scheduling orders.
• Monitor and implement developments in MDL/coordinated proceedings.
• Provide direction to paralegals and case managers on litigation tasks.
• Identify and develop liability and damages proof.
• Assess and recommend appropriate venue and jurisdiction for filing.
• Support settlement and resolution efforts.
