Job summary

Impact Staffing International (ISI) seeks a Mass Tort Legal Assistant to join our client's Mass Torts team in Houston, TX. You will support attorneys and staff with high-volume mass tort claims, including medical records coordination, document prep, and data management.

The role requires 2+ years of legal support experience in a fast-paced environment, with mass tort exposure preferred. You will work on-site in Houston, Monday–Friday, with opportunities to contribute to case outcomes and client

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal assistant or paralegal experience in a high-volume environment.
• Experience in mass tort or high-volume plaintiff-side litigation preferred.
• Proficient Excel skills for large data sets and reporting.
• Proficient PDF/Adobe Acrobat for document handling and production.
• Excellent attention to detail and meticulous case documentation.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple matters.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal client communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support a high volume of mass tort claims and complex dockets.
• Communicate with clients by phone, email, and mail in a professional, empathetic manner.
• Maintain accurate case management records and document follow-ups.
• Order, track, review, and summarize medical records with vendors.
• Prepare, format, and organize legal documents and reports.
• Analyze large data sets in Excel and validate data.
• Assist with electronic court filings, docket tracking, and discovery materials.
• Coordinate with attorneys, vendors, and external partners.
• Compile medical records and investigative materials for attorney review.
• Support production activities, including Bates stamping and redaction as needed.
