Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Mass Arbitration Attorney in Chicago, IL. You will work closely with a lead attorney to identify and pursue cases through arbitration, focusing on consumer rights against large corporate defendants.

The role involves evaluating arbitration clauses, drafting legal theories, and litigating matters through the arbitration process while collaborating to shape the practice strategy.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of legal experience.
• JD from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar license in good standing.
• Familiarity with Mass Arbitration processes and viability factors.
• Knowledge of AAA/JAMS consumer rules.
• Background in mass arbitrations, consumer protection, or similar fields preferred.
• Strong research and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential targets such as consumer contracts and arbitration clauses.
• Analyze agreements for delegation, mass-action waivers, and other protocols.
• Develop new legal theories for existing cases.
• Conduct go/no-go analyses with clear articulation of case strengths and weaknesses.
• Litigate cases through the arbitration process, addressing procedural and substantive issues.
• Collaborate with a leading Mass Arbitration attorney to shape practice strategy.
