Job Purpose

The Masonry Project Engineer at BLAKLEY CORP is responsible for managing and overseeing the technical and administrative aspects of masonry projects. This role involves ensuring that all project-related documentation is accurately prepared and maintained, facilitating smooth project execution in alignment with company standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and management of all necessary paperwork for masonry projects, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather and verify necessary documentation for project requirements.
  • Support the project team in tracking project progress and maintaining accurate records of project milestones and deliverables.
  • Ensure all project documentation is filed appropriately and is easily accessible for future reference.
  • Provide administrative support to the project team, facilitating effective communication and coordination among all stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends and best practices in construction management to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Education
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Construction Management or a related field.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on masonry projects.
  • Experience in preparing and managing project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Proven track record of successfully supporting masonry projects from inception to completion.
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of masonry construction techniques and materials.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
