Job summary

Miles-McClellan Construction in Ohio is seeking a Masonry Project Manager to lead commercial masonry efforts from planning through closeout, coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.

You will manage budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and project documentation while mentoring staff and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Strong client relationships are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• Experience managing commercial masonry/restoration/construction projects.
• Experience leading commercial projects in the $1M-$5M range.
• Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial masonry projects from planning through completion.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Oversee project progress, financial performance, quality standards, and schedule compliance.
• Partner with Masonry Superintendents and Foremen to ensure successful field execution and labor performance.
• Prepare and manage change orders, project pricing, contract modifications, and procurement activities.
• Manage project costs, manpower utilization, productivity, quality control, and overall project profitability.
• Participate in preconstruction meetings, project planning sessions, and client meetings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, trade partners, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and engineers.
• Identify project risks and implement solutions to maintain schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and other project team members.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, project procedures, and safety requirements.

Overview

The Masonry Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing commercial masonry projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role works closely with field leadership, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing commercial masonry, restoration, concrete, or commercial construction projects.
• Experience leading commercial construction projects in the $1M-$5M range preferred.
• Strong knowledge of masonry construction methods, materials, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, contracts, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience managing project financials, procurement, subcontractors, and client relationships.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, or similar construction management software.
• OSHA 10 certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Reliable transportation and ability to visit active jobsites regularly.
