Job summary

Blackjack Horticulture seeks a Masonry Crew Member to build and repair outdoor features, read blueprints, and work safely with hand and power tools. This full-time role emphasizes quality craftsmanship and reliable teamwork.

You'll lift heavy materials, follow project plans, and grow into a crew lead as opportunities arise, with steady year-round work in a growing local company.

Qualifications

• Masonry/hardscaping or construction experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license a plus.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude.
• Willingness to learn and take direction on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair hardscape features including retaining walls, paver patios, walkways, steps, and stone veneer.
• Read and follow project plans/blueprints for layout and grading.
• Mix and pour concrete, set stone/block, and finish surfaces to spec.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Work alongside crew leads to keep projects on schedule and up to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site and properly care for equipment/materials.
• Load/unload materials and assist with other landscape construction tasks as needed.
