Job summary

Georgia Aquarium is seeking a Team Specialist I in the Entertainment department to perform as a Character Performer in the Atrium, Galleries, and Plaza. You will participate in the Mascot Program, Entertainment activations, and special events while also serving as a Production Assistant for guest programming.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year live performance experience preferred.
• 1 year customer service experience in a fast-paced setting preferred.
• Experience with live entertainment or event production is a plus.
• Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities to meet department needs.

Responsibilities

• Appear as a Character Performer in Entertainment activations across the Atrium, Galleries, and Plaza.
• Stand and move in mascot costume for up to 45 minutes, with stamina for multiple sets.
• Serve as a Character Handler to ensure safety and timing of appearances.
• Support daily programming as a Production Assistant.
• Assist with seasonal events and production tasks as needed.
• Provide hospitality and information to Guests while in public areas.
• Maintain schedules, attend rehearsals, and help with props and costumes upkeep.
