Georgia Aquarium, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Team Specialist I in Entertainment to perform as a mascot and support entertainment activations in the Atrium, Galleries, and Plaza.

Costume work is required, with up to 45 minutes per appearance and flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. The role also involves production assistance, guest hospitality, and helping with seasonal events and daily programming.

Qualifications

• Previous 1 years of theatre, film, music, or other live performance experience
• Previous 1 year of customer service experience in a fast paced, high-volume setting preferred.
• Some previous experience with live entertainment or special event production is preferred.
• Effective problem analysis and resolution
• Ability to be flexible and shift priorities to meet departmental

Responsibilities

• Appear as a Character Performer in Entertainment spaces (Atrium, Galleries, Plaza) in a mascot costume.
• Possibly travel to or work at off-site locations for appearances.
• Stand and move in costume up to 45 minutes, with stamina for 6 sets daily.
• Serve as a Production Assistant to support daily programming.
• Assist with seasonal events and other Entertainment duties.
• Provide hospitality to guests and share basic Aquarium information.
• Follow schedules, rotations, and performance break protocols.
• Attend rehearsals and ensure safe, engaging guest experiences.
• Maintain costumes, props, and workspaces' cleanliness and safety.
• Perform other duties as workload requires.
