Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta is seeking a Part-Time Production Technician (Level I) to assist in daily operation and maintenance of lighting, electrics and production for theatre and guest events. The role includes operating a follow spot and supporting all production departments.
You will participate in load-ins, rehearsals, and events, train new staff on show operations, and help with basic video, audio, and stage tasks.

The Production Technician (Level I) – Part Time is an entry-level position within the Production Department which assists in the daily operation and maintenance of all aspects of technical production for the Production / Entertainment Departments, Special Events, and other Guest programming. They will operate a follow spot for presentations, as well as for rehearsals and special events, and support all other production departments as required. They will also participate in work calls / routine maintenance assignments, and function as a Stagehand / Production Assistant for presentations, Special Events or other production/guest programming projects as assigned. They will be exposed to, receive training in, and have the opportunity to assist with, operations related to lighting, special effects, audio-visual, live camera operation and video manipulation systems.
