RK&K is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to join our Program and Construction Management division in Maryland. The role supports MDOT SHA by managing capital facility projects, inspections, lifecycle planning, and environmental remediation efforts across the state.

Based primarily in Hanover, MD, this position requires travel to facilities throughout the region and provides technical direction to engineers, architects, and contractors while ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, facilities management, or related field.
• 20+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree is acceptable.
• Experience managing architectural, engineering, construction, maintenance, repair, or facility improvement projects.
• Knowledge of building systems and contractor oversight.

Aufgaben

• Manage facility construction, renovation, repair, or maintenance projects from planning through closeout.
• Review scopes, cost estimates, schedules, specifications and contract documents.
• Coordinate activities with MDOT SHA districts, consultants, and contractors.
• Inspect facilities and oversee lifecycle planning and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with codes, budgets, and schedules.
