Job summary

PRIME AE Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager – H&H (Hydrology & Hydraulics) for our Baltimore, MD office to support the Maryland SHA on drainage remediation projects.

You will lead multi‑disciplinary teams through design, permitting, PS&E, bidding, and construction, coordinating with SHA offices, consultants, and regulators.

This role requires a PE license and 5–10 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in transportation, drainage, or infrastructure projects.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• MD SHA project delivery experience with SHA processes and milestones.
• Experience with design reviews, cost estimating, permitting, PS&E, bidding, and construction coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage SHA drainage remediation projects through design, permitting, PS&E, advertisement, bidding, and construction support.
• Review design plans for constructability, cost estimates, and milestone submissions.
• Coordinate with SHA offices, design consultants, survey teams, utilities, environmental and permitting agencies.
• Gather background information including surveys, right‑of‑way details, and environmental features.
• Prepare data collection requests and advance drainage remediation projects.
• Lead meetings and prepare minutes, reports, and project updates.
• Support ad/ bid activities and provide construction guidance when requested.
• Maintain project tracking and provide regular updates on status, costs, and risks.
