Job summary

PRIME AE Group, Inc. in Maryland is seeking a Project Manager – H&H (Hydrology & Hydraulics) to join our Baltimore area office and support the Maryland SHA with drainage remediation projects.

You will provide hands-on project management and technical coordination through the full project lifecycle, coordinating with SHA staff, design consultants, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to maintain schedule, budget, quality, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in transportation, highway, drainage, or infrastructure projects.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• Prior Maryland SHA project delivery experience preferred.
• Experience with design/constructability reviews, cost estimating, permitting, PS&E, bidding, and construction coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage SHA drainage remediation projects through design, permitting, PS&E, advertisement, bidding, and construction support with adherence to schedules, budgets, milestones, and documentation.
• Review design plans, milestones, and submissions; provide technical comments to design consultants.
• Coordinate with SHA offices, design consultants, survey teams, utilities, and environmental/permitting agencies to address requirements and resolve issues.
• Gather project background information including as-built plans, ROW, surveys, utilities, and environmental features.
• Prepare data collection requests for surveys, utilities, permitting, environmental, and other data.
• Lead project meetings; prepare minutes, reports, updates, maps, displays, and recommendations.
• Support bidding activities and provide technical guidance during construction when requested.
• Maintain project tracking and provide updates on status, costs, permits, ROW needs, utilities, schedules, and risks.
