Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a dedicated Program Manager for Marketing Technology to own the delivery, governance, and evolution of our MarTech portfolio.

You will provide end-to-end program leadership across the stack, drive roadmap execution, manage dependencies, and coordinate platform integrations with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Data, and Analytics.

This role requires deep technical program management capabilities and a strong ability to communicate with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large, complex technology programs across multiple functions.
• Experience with MarTech platforms and ecosystems.
• Strong communication with senior leadership.
• Understanding of APIs, data flows, and SaaS.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.

Responsibilities

• Own program management and delivery across the Marketing Technology portfolio, ensuring initiatives align with Marketing and Technology priorities.
• Lead multi-functional MarTech programs from planning through delivery, including roadmaps, achievements, dependencies, risks, testing, deployment, and adoption.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Analytics, and other teams to coordinate priorities and drive successful execution.
• Provide governance and oversight throughout the marketing technology landscape, including platform integrations, technology lifecycle planning, technical debt, and investment priorities.
• Drive executive-level communication and reporting on program health, risks, dependencies, decisions, and key achievements.
• Find opportunities to simplify and improve the MarTech ecosystem, including evaluating new technologies, improving integrations, and driving process and platform improvements.
