Job summary

At Cengage, a global edtech leader, we seek a dedicated Program Manager for Marketing Technology to own end-to-end program delivery and governance across the MarTech stack.

You will drive roadmaps, coordinate dependencies, manage platform integrations, and partner with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data teams to execute and iterate on initiatives that enhance digital experiences and learner outcomes.

Qualifications

• Leading large, complex technology programs across multiple functions and influencing teams without direct authority.
• Experience with Marketing Technology platforms and ecosystems: marketing automation, CRM, CMS, consumer data, insights, and digital experience tech.
• Good understanding of system integrations, APIs, data flows, platform dependencies, and enterprise SaaS tech.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, facilitation, and problem-solving with senior leadership exposure.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Preferred PMP or similar certification.
• Experience leading enterprise MarTech transformation or modernization initiatives.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud/CDPs, CMS platforms, CRM, and digital analytics tech.
• Experience partnering across Marketing, Web/eCommerce, Data & Analytics, Architecture, and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own program management and delivery across the Marketing Technology portfolio, aligning with Marketing and Technology priorities.
• Lead complex, multi-functional MarTech programs from planning through delivery (roadmaps, dependencies, risks, testing, deployment, adoption).
• Coordinate priorities with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Analytics, and other teams.
• Provide governance over the marketing tech landscape, including integrations, lifecycle planning, debt, and investment priorities.
• Deliver executive-level reporting on program health, risks, dependencies, and key achievements.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve the MarTech ecosystem and drive platform improvements.
