Qualifications

• Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and 10+ years in engineering management delivering large-scale transformation initiatives in retail.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and anticipate Macy’s future technology needs by balancing innovation, industry trends, and customer- facing solution requirements.
• Lead the design, delivery, and operations of technology solutions to modernize Macy’s capabilities and support the business vision.
• Stay current on emerging technologies to keep Macy’s technology stack modern and competitive.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive platform modernization and enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Enhance software quality across Macy’s Technology organization and drive end-to-end accountability.
• Own talent development and build bench strength within the technology organization.
