Job summary

Latham & Watkins in Chicago or New York seeks a Business Development Specialist – Markets to bolster the firm’s BD efforts across the Chicago and Latin America markets. You will partner with the office BD Manager and cross-functional teams to drive marketing initiatives, client targeting, events, and cross-selling.

The role offers hybrid/in-office flexibility. A bachelor’s degree and at least three years in marketing/BD are required, with Spanish proficiency a plus.

Qualifications

• Exhibit well-developed interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently or in a team.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree required; 3+ years in marketing, BD, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, execution, and evaluation of BD/marketing initiatives for Chicago and LATAM markets.
• Assist with office events, cross-selling and client-targeting activities.
• Collaborate with BD Core, New Business, Creative, Events & Sponsorships, and other teams to provide client intel and materials.
• Monitor office initiatives with key account clients and be the go-to BD resource for the office.
