Job summary

Latham & Watkins is seeking a Business Development Specialist for our Chicago office, with hybrid work options. You will support the local BD team, coordinate marketing initiatives, and help build relationships with partners, counsel, and associates.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and at least three years in marketing, business development, or office administration, and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and client-targeting skills.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, execution, and evaluation of Business Development and Marketing initiatives and office business plans.
• Plan and support office events, cross-selling, and client-targeting initiatives for local markets.
• Coordinate with BD Core, New Business Team, Creative, Events & Sponsorships, Martech, Library & Research, Alumni, Brand & Communications, and the Financial Information Center to deliver client intelligence, research, pitch information, events, and lawyer materials.
• Monitor office initiatives with key account clients in the market.
• Serve as the go-to resource for office BD needs and protect confidential information.
