Job summary

Creative Planning seeks a Marketing Director - Solutions Architect to own the marketing systems landscape, design end-to-end data flows, and partner with MarTech Ops, AppDev, and Salesforce teams. You will lead system design, data usage, new journeys, and platform administration to deliver scalable marketing solutions.

The role requires 7+ years in marketing systems architecture, hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Tealium, and strong SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 7+ years building marketing systems architectures and data-driven workflows.
• Hands-on with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Tealium configurations.
• Experience with data pipelines and data sharing across platforms.
• Strong SQL ability for querying and validating data across systems.
• Experience moving data from Databricks or similar platforms into marketing systems.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer marketing systems landscape including Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Tealium.
• Lead architecture across marketing platforms and data integration points.
• Assess data requests and data movement between systems and pipelines.
• Define data, workflows, and system interactions for scalable solutions.
• Understand data tables, events, and attributes for accurate data use.
• Collaborate with internal teams to connect pipelines and enable workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues across platforms while keeping marketing operations moving.
• Empower teams through governance, guidance, and system knowledge.
• Lead strategic efforts while remaining hands-on to drive execution.
