AKA Search Group is seeking a Marketing Strategist to help transform the branding and multi-channel marketing function. You will support day-to-day execution, optimization, and systemization across paid and organic channels, working with vendors and leveraging AI tools to automate leads and maintain CRM hygiene.

The role is hybrid, with 1–2 days in the Richmond area, and requires hands-on marketing experience, detail orientation, and the ability to translate strategic direction into high-volume,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support daily execution of lead generation campaigns across PPC, direct mail, radio, and organic content.
  • Track performance against key metrics such as cost per lead, lead-to-contract ratio, and channel ROI.
  • Assist in rebuilding and maintaining CRM structure, lead flows, and tagging systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Utilize AI tools to support campaign automation, lead scoring, data cleaning, and vendor optimization.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and contractors to ensure timelines and performance standards.
  • Maintain brand voice fidelity across platforms while remixing legacy content for modern formats like short-form video.
  • Prepare weekly reports for founders with actionable insights focused on lead quality, campaign cost-efficiency, and system integrity.
  • Ensure creative assets and outreach campaigns reflect empathy, trust-building tone, and alignment with distressed seller needs.
  • Assist in testing and developing new marketing channels in alignment with growth-stage business goals.

Essential Job Functions
