• Background in Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, or related fields) welcomed.
• Experience in event planning or trade show logistics.
• Portfolio or samples of content creation (social media, blog posts, or marketing collateral).
• Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, ZoomInfo, or similar).
• Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce).

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our Houston team.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about event planning and content creation. You will play a key role in coordinating event logistics, managing relationships with scientific associations, and producing engaging content to support our marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Event Planning & Execution: Coordinate logistics for regional and national events, including BioConnects, Lunch & Learns, and industry trade shows. Support on-site execution, including booth setup, registration tracking, and material management.
• Content Creation: Draft and edit compelling content for social media channels, newsletters, and promotional materials to enhance brand visibility.
• KOL & Association Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), academic institutions, and relevant scientific associations to build brand credibility.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with technical, sales, and operations teams to support product launches, campaigns, and outreach strategies.
• Marketing Operations: Assist with administrative marketing tasks, budget tracking, and lead management to support overall business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Houston, TX.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, or related fields).
• Demonstrated experience in event planning or trade show logistics.
• Portfolio or examples of previous content creation (social media, blog posts, or marketing collateral).
• Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, ZoomInfo, or similar).
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).
• Familiarity with digital marketing and CRM platforms (HubSpot, SalesForce, etc.)
