Job summary

Wellmark invites a Marketing Rotation Internship for Spring and Summer 2027, based in Des Moines, IA. The program starts part-time during the spring and transitions to a full-time internship in May, with in-office days Tue–Thu and hybrid/remote work options.

Current juniors or seniors studying marketing or related fields will gain exposure to campaigns, analytics, and marketing technology while collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Current junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing or related business program.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative, prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to use data to inform decisions and make recommendations.
• Available to work 10-20 hours/week during the academic year, either hybrid or fully remote
• Available to work 40 hours/week during the summer; required in-office days of Tue, Wed and Thu, with additional days in office pending role requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in planning and executing marketing campaigns.
• Updating marketing collateral and enrollment materials.
• Coordinating sponsorship activations.
• Analyzing data from marketing campaigns to inform decisions.
• Using marketing technology to develop and deliver tactics.
• Collaborating with creative, analytics and operations teams.
