Job summary

Burgess & Niple is seeking a Marketing & Proposal Coordinator to drive both proposal development and broader marketing initiatives. You’ll craft compelling content, ensure branding consistency, and shape client-facing materials across civil engineering projects.

You’ll collaborate with regional teams, coach technical staff for client interviews, and help manage CRM and marketing databases while advancing the firm’s brand and market presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• 2+ years of related experience; AEC experience desirable; SF330 and F110-330 forms experience required.
• Strong command of English grammar, editing, and ability to convey complex technical concepts to a general audience.
• Experience with CRM platforms and marketing database management.
• Familiarity with brand standards and social media management.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, well-organized, and collaborative.
• Proficiency in InDesign and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Adobe Suite a plus.
• Adaptable and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain proposal materials supporting civil engineering projects across our regional operations, water, and transportation services
• Develop and integrate key messages and win themes into proposals
• Coordinate pursuit strategy across multiple simultaneous proposals and track action items to keep teams on deadline
• Develop presentation materials and coach technical teams to prepare for client project interviews
• Create written content for external channels including the website, social media, brochures, and promotional materials
• Produce proposals leveraging branded corporate templates, generate boilerplate content, in alignment with client intel and follow best practices for architecture and engineering services
• Maintain company information, proposal content, marketing materials, and associated marketing databases and CRM
• Support efforts to advance our brand building including marketing campaigns, conference sponsorships, client events, and award submissions
