Location: Stockton CA and assigned territory (field-based, approx. 60–70% in field)
Classification: Full-time, non-exempt (hourly + mileage reimbursement)
The Marketing Pharmacy Technician represents Oneiro Pharmacy in the community, building relationships with Section 8 / HUD-assisted housing properties, senior apartments, physician offices, clinics, and other referral sources. The role combines licensed pharmacy-technician knowledge with outreach, education, and relationship management to increase awareness of pharmacy services such as free prescription delivery, medication synchronization, blister/adherence packaging, home infusion, enteral nutrition, compounding, DME/diabetic supplies, and immunization events.
The technician educates on services only. All clinical questions, drug information, counseling, and therapy recommendations are routed to a pharmacist.
Active, unrestricted California Pharmacy Technician license issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy (qualifications under B&P Code §4202 — see Board of Pharmacy technician licensing ).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of retail, LTC, or specialty pharmacy experience.
Valid California driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance.
Working knowledge of Medicare Part B/D, Medi-Cal, Medicare Advantage, and commercial prescription coverage basics.
Strong verbal presentation skills; comfortable speaking to groups of 10–50 people.
PTCB CPhT or NHA ExCPT certification.
Prior pharmacy sales, marketing, or community health outreach experience.
Bilingual: Spanish, Hmong, or Punjabi (Central Valley priority languages).
Familiarity with LTC, home infusion, or adherence packaging programs.
CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
