Job summary

The Southern District YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and service-oriented Marketing Manager to tell the YMCA story and strengthen engagement throughout our community.

This position leads marketing and communications organization-wide, reporting to senior leadership, and overseeing campaigns, content creation, branding, events, and community impact storytelling to support membership, programs, and fundraising.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business or related field preferred.
• Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading marketing initiatives and managing projects from strategy through execution.
• Experience managing social media platforms, email marketing, websites, and digital communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization’s overall marketing strategy.
• Create annual marketing plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Plan and implement integrated marketing campaigns and community initiatives.
• Oversee content for print, digital, email, website, and social media.
• Collaborate with leaders to grow membership, programs, and fundraising.
• Represent the YMCA at community events, including evenings/weekends.
