Position: Marketing Manager

Position reports to: Director of Membership, Marketing, and Communications
Position Summary:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns to promote DMEC’s membership and educational products. This position ensures the achievement of growth goals and increased brand awareness through the execution of marketing best practices and is proficient in creating data-driven, integrated marketing campaigns. The position exhibits leadership skills and displays DMEC’s core values. It requires minimal supervision and works collaboratively across teams and with individuals at all skill levels.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements an integrated marketing strategy for membership, conferences, microcredentials, certifications, and webinars, leveraging appropriate marketing mix and ideas to drive revenue and enhance the member/customer experience.
- Analyzes and reports on campaign results, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments.
- Creates, manages, and executes successful marketing campaigns using Pardot marketing automation, monitoring reports, trends, and engagement metrics to advance the sales funnel.
- In partnership with the Communications Manager, writes engaging copy for product positioning, website content, email campaigns, and digital ads, maintaining consistent brand voice and messaging.
- Reviews marketing communications to ensure adherence to DMEC brand guidelines.
- Designs a variety of visual content, including social media assets, email banners, infographics, presentations, and promotional materials aligned with brand standards and marketing goals.
- Provides backup support to the Communications Manager for social media posting.
- Manages email campaigns, including testing and segmentation strategies.
- Serves as webmaster for the organization’s WordPress website, overseeing strategic planning, optimization, maintenance, and reporting.
- Ensures clear, accurate, and consistent communication across all channels to promote DMEC’s image and industry position.
- Guides the evolution of brand voice and style guidelines to ensure consistency and relevance.
- Monitors industry trends and competitive research to inform messaging, pricing, and program development.
- Collaborates with colleagues and senior management on product initiatives and supports the launch of new products and services.
- Works with internal teams to improve management and utilization of CRM, webinar, and LMS systems.
- Oversees external vendors for marketing materials and lead generation resources.
- Manages the annual marketing budget, including forecasting, expense tracking, and variance analysis.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Extensive experience in integrated marketing, including branding, segmentation, messaging, digital design, email, direct mail, website, and media placement. Expert in campaign creation, testing, analysis, and execution.

- Proficient with CRM and marketing automation tools, including Salesforce, Nimble AMS, and Pardot.
- Familiar with Google Analytics, WordPress, and Hootsuite platforms.
- Basic HTML skills and website content management experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other business tools.
- Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Education and Experience:
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
At least 4 years of experience in membership, marketing, or communications.
Experience managing social media channels and marketing campaigns.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data analytics, CRM systems, Salesforce, Nimble AMS, and Pardot.
Strong project management experience.
Work Environment:
- This is a remote position; a quiet home office is required.
- Travel may be required 1-3 times per year for conferences and events.
Benefits:
Salary range: $67,502 – $91,327 annually.
