Job description

*Only the most qualified candidates will be contacted

Our client is looking for a modern, entrepreneurial Marketing Manager who wants to build, experiment, and make a measurable impact within a large, growing organization deeply connected to agriculture and rural communities.

The right person will understand that balance. You’ll bring sophisticated marketing strategy, CRM, automation, AI, and digital tools to the table—without losing the authentic, relationship-driven approach that resonates in small-town America.

This is an opportunity for someone who sees what marketing could be and has the initiative to go build it.

What You'll Own

As Marketing Manager, you’ll lead the marketing function and a small team while remaining close enough to the work to execute alongside them. Your reach will span the entire organization, including sales, service, parts/aftermarket, recruiting, employee communications, digital marketing, and brand strategy.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Building a proactive marketing strategy rather than waiting for ideas or direction from leadership
  • Leading, developing, and holding the marketing team accountable for execution and results
  • Creating CRM-driven customer lifecycle programs that increase retention, service activity, repeat business, and customer value
  • Developing multi-channel campaigns across email, SMS, social media, digital, video, web, and other emerging platforms
  • Leveraging AI, automation, and new marketing technology to create smarter, scalable processes
  • Owning the company-wide marketing calendar across a large, multi-location footprint
  • Partnering with Sales, Service, Parts, HR, and operational leaders to connect marketing activity to real business outcomes
  • Strengthening recruiting and employer-brand marketing, particularly for hard-to-find talent
  • Leading internal communications that keep employees across multiple locations informed and connected
  • Overseeing website strategy, SEO, lead generation, social media, content, and digital presence
  • Building reporting that focuses on revenue, retention, bookings, recruiting results, and other meaningful KPIs—not just clicks and impressions
  • Managing the marketing budget and evaluating programs based on measurable return
What They're Looking For

The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing leader who is curious, proactive, and energized by what's next. You follow changes in marketing because you genuinely enjoy the field, and you're willing to test new approaches rather than defaulting to “this is how we've always done it.”

  • 5+ years of progressive marketing experience; broader experience at the Marketing Manager level is strongly preferred
  • Strong CRM and customer lifecycle marketing experience
  • Experience within agriculture, equipment, dealerships, or a similar multi-location/relationship-driven industry is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience using modern marketing technology, automation, digital platforms, social media, and emerging tools
  • Interest in and practical understanding of how AI can enhance marketing strategy and execution
  • Experience developing multi-channel campaigns with measurable business outcomes
  • Previous leadership experience with the ability to coach while remaining a hands-on contributor
  • Salesforce experience is a plus, but not required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel periodically to locations, customers, meetings, and industry events

If you're a marketing leader who loves agriculture or rural America, gets excited about CRM, AI, automation, and what's coming next—and would rather create the playbook than simply inherit one—this could be an exceptional next step.
