Job Description: Marketing Manager at Gilsanz Murray Steficek

GMS is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our NYC office, overseeing marketing initiatives and communications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of marketing fundamentals, practical and theoretical developments in the field, and a comprehensive knowledge of the firm’s practice, clients, and policies. They should be highly competent, personable, and skilled in graphics, writing, and research.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and mentor marketing staff.
2. Oversee development of collateral materials, public relations, corporate identity, and market research.
3. Prepare proposals, qualifications, SF 330 forms, presentations, and RFI responses, ensuring quality and consistency.
4. Coordinate with industry partners and track proposal outcomes.
5. Oversee prequalification certifications and staff training.
6. Collaborate with technical teams on marketing content and develop promotional materials.
7. Contribute to strategic marketing planning and manage digital platforms including website and social media.
8. Assist in content development, strategy, and maintain marketing calendar.
9. Support award submissions and other marketing tasks as needed.

Requirements:

1. At least 7 years of relevant experience in AEC marketing preferred.
2. Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Design, Marketing, or Journalism preferred.
3. Experience in fast-paced environments, proficiency in Microsoft Office, basic Adobe Creative Suite skills, and familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint or Vision CRM are preferred.
4. Knowledge of WordPress, SEO, and social media tools is advantageous.
5. Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines are essential.
6. Must be eligible to work in the United States.
