This role balances strategic planning with hands-on execution, translating account strategy into action, coordinating across internal creative, digital, and content teams, and maintaining strong client communication. In-office role with ASAP start.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, advertising, communications, account management, or a related field.
  • Experience managing campaigns, projects, or significant areas of responsibility within a client or brand account.
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing strategy across digital advertising, social media, email, web, content, creative, and traditional media.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Higher education, enrollment marketing, or agency experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with marketing to prospective college students, Gen Z audiences is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to manage day-to-day marketing efforts for higher ed clients
  • Develop understanding of clients, their programs, audiences, enrollment goals, and objectives
  • Manage planning, execution, and reporting of integrated marketing campaigns
  • Participate in regular client meetings and document next steps
  • Build and maintain marketing plans, calendars, briefs, decks, and documentation
  • Translate account strategy into actionable tasks for internal teams
  • Identify opportunities and bring recommendations to the account lead
  • Develop campaign strategy across paid media, social media, email, web, video, and traditional media
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver campaigns on schedule
  • Collaborate with creative teams on concepts, messaging, and production
  • Write, edit, and provide strategic feedback on marketing copy
  • Stay aware of higher education marketing trends and Gen Z media habits

Full-Time Position

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Department at Loch & Key Productions, with a primary focus on supporting & managing the day-to-day marketing efforts for higher education clients, & working directly with our dedicated higher ed team to execute robust & multi-faceted campaigns & initiatives .

This role is ideal for an experienced marketer who can take meaningful ownership of campaigns & projects while working closely with the account lead. The Marketing Manager will help translate account strategy into action, manage ongoing campaigns & priorities, coordinate across internal creative, digital, & content teams, & maintain strong communication with both the client & internal team.

This role requires someone who can balance strategy with execution. You’ll help develop marketing plans, manage campaigns from concept through reporting, participate in client communications, & proactively identify needs & opportunities. The right person is an extremely organized project manager, thoughtful marketer, confident communicator, & collaborative teammate who can operate independently while contributing to a larger account strategy.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to manage the day-to-day marketing efforts for higher ed clients
  • Develop a strong understanding of individual clients, their programs, audiences, priorities, enrollment goals, & institutional objectives
  • Manage the planning, execution, & reporting of integrated marketing & promotional campaigns
  • Participate in regular client meetings, contribute recommendations, document next steps, & ensure consistent follow-through
  • Build & maintain marketing plans, campaign calendars, timelines, briefs, decks, & supporting documentation
  • Translate account strategy & client priorities into clear, actionable assignments for internal creative, content, digital, & production teams
  • Proactively identify marketing opportunities, campaign needs, potential challenges, & next steps & bring recommendations to the account lead.
  • Help develop campaign strategy across paid media, social media, email, web, video, traditional media, & other relevant channels
  • Coordinate with internal teams & external partners to ensure campaigns & projects are delivered accurately, strategically, & on schedule
  • Collaborate with creative teams on campaign concepts, messaging, copy, design, photography, & video production
  • Write, edit, & provide strategic feedback on marketing & campaign copy as needed
  • Maintain awareness of higher education marketing trends, prospective student behavior, Gen Z media habits, & broader cultural trends that may impact campaign strategy
  • Coordinate & track campaigns timelines, deliverables, & relevant tasks
  • Ensure internal teams have the information, assets, approvals, & direction necessary to successfully execute their work
  • Support additional agency accounts, initiatives, events, & campaigns as department needs evolve
  • Provide on-site or weekend support for events, productions, or activations when needed
Qualifications / Skills:

  • Comfortable participating in client meetings, presenting ideas and recommendations, and navigating client feedback
  • Ability to think strategically while remaining comfortable with hands-on execution
  • Experience developing creative briefs and collaborating with designers, content teams, photographers, videographers, and other creative partners
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, anticipate needs and opportunities, and understand when to collaborate, elevate, or seeking direction
  • Higher education, enrollment marketing, or agency experience preferred
  • Familiarity with marketing to prospective college students, particularly Gen Z audiences, is a plus
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and ability to work effectively across teams
