Marketing Insights Researcher - Latin America

The mission of the Marketing Insights team is to understand the needs, experiences, behaviors, and attitudes of our users and customers to maximize the value Meta can deliver across our platforms and services. Our team are experts in research technique and practice, but our differentiator is how we act as full-stack partners to help identify and actualize the marketing strategies that connect people and businesses to meaningful experiences. International Marketing works across audiences and products to drive outsized impact against key company objectives. We do this by activating local experiences at a global scale, leveraging our regional expertise to identify the local delta that will accelerate results. The Latin America (LATAM) Team is core to this mission, uncovering opportunities to grow revenue while connecting consumers, creators, and businesses to greater value on our platforms. As a key insights partner, you will leverage your strategy and collaboration skills to independently identify new research opportunities and deliver meaningful results. You will work on both B2B and B2C marketing strategies, across LATAM and globally. You will be thinking on your feet to problem solve and execute efficiently and then play a key role bringing strategies to life, leveraging your passion for translating complex ideas into simple and compelling messages.

Responsibilities
  1. Identify the areas to research and develop the learning agendas (in collaboration with other functions such as UXR, Product Data Science and Marketing Decision Science) to support progress on business goals. Helps define their own scope.
  2. Design and execute quantitative and qualitative research to support decision-making, strategic planning and shape marketing/brand strategies, campaign development, product development, retail/channel strategy.
  3. Translate research findings into actionable insights with clear recommendations.
  4. Produce highly effective communication that motivates people to apply learnings in marketing and across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Research Expertise: 8+ years of research experience. Extensive knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods, with the skillset to apply them in a business context to inform decision-making.
  2. Marketing Expertise: Proven expertise in shaping insights-driven marketing campaigns and product launches from definition to execution, with a focus on shaping strategy, driving alignment, and delivering business outcomes.
  3. Strategic Leadership: Resolves ambiguity, drives cross-functional alignment. Track record of thriving in dynamic environments.
  4. Audience Expertise: Understands the nuances and commonalities of marketing to small and large business and consumer audiences in LATAM and beyond.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. 10+ years of research experience.
  2. 4+ years of experience with a multi-national company, working across and outside of LATAM markets.
  3. 2+ years of experience with B2B marketing, with a proven track record of driving revenue.
  4. Portuguese fluency, with direct experience working on the ground in LATAM.

Compensation: $160,000/year to $219,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
