Job summary

Wwshemi is an early-stage AI company in San Francisco seeking a marketing lead to shape our story and grow inbound interest. You will own the marketing strategy, content calendar, and brand voice across channels, while translating complex AI concepts for technical audiences.

You'll manage social media, write founder-focused content, and identify events and communities to strengthen our pipeline and accelerate growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing, content, or community roles at startups.
• Portfolio showing ability to explain technical products clearly.
• Experience planning and running events or communities from start to finish.
• Familiarity with AI communities and the AI landscape, including AI/ML or developer tools.
• Experience with analytics, growth strategies, and technical storytelling.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced early-stage environment.

Join a small, technical team at an early-stage AI company working on reinforcement learning infrastructure and post-training data. You will shape the company's story, grow audience and inbound interest, and build momentum with a technical community.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in marketing, content, or community roles at startups, with a track record of growing social accounts or company brands.
• A portfolio demonstrating the ability to understand technical products and explain them simply and accurately.
• Hands-on experience planning and running events, meetups, or community programs from start to finish.
• Strong familiarity with AI communities and the AI landscape, ideally including AI/ML, developer tools, or other technical B2B platforms.
• Experience with social and content analytics and growth strategies, plus a point of view on technical storytelling.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced early-stage environment. Two to seven years of experience is indicated.

Base salary range: $130,000 to $225,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in San Francisco, California. Candidates must be based in the area or willing to relocate.
