MOREgroup is seeking applicants for a Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our team. This position will support the marketing department in a variety of marketing, business development and client relations tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Event / tradeshow coordination and execution including (but not limited to) event research, exhibit space acquisition, booth management, sponsorships / association fees, attendee registration, accommodations, and event collateral
  • Develop and maintain industry vendor and organization relations
  • Calendar management for marketing-related activities
  • Database management for conferences, sponsorship, and client events
  • Coordinate and track submission of purchase orders, check requests, purchase receipts, and other marketing-related expenses
  • Coordinate scheduling, production, and delivery of marketing materials
  • Support business development efforts as needed for marketing packets, sponsorship collateral and related print or digital materials.
  • Interdepartmental and interoffice coordination of marketing materials, brand guidelines and other marketing-related activities / tasks
  • Special projects and ad-hoc research

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a professional in event planning
  • Prior marketing experience in the A/E/C industry is a plus
  • Intermediate level skills in MSOffice, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent customer service and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to remain positive and focused in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines; capable of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Show initiative to make improvements to department/company processes
  • Exercise high degree of integrity and a commitment to the work and the company
