Job description

Our client, a 3d design software company, is actively looking for a Marketing Event Coordinator to join their team in Royal Oak, MI! This role is onsite for the first 2 weeks and then will transition to 3 days in office, 2 days remote.

***This is a 1 year initial contract with the opportunity to extend***

Responsibilities

For 3rd party events:

  • Manage contract approval process and securing booth location during events
  • Manage all logistics including, but not limited to ordering services, managing shipments, sessions coordination, speakers and deliverables, and staff coordination while meeting show deadlines and staying within budget
  • Document and track all costs
  • Collaborate with sales management on agreed KPIs per event
  • Schedule and leave event cadence calls with supporting staff, communicating event updates and status
  • Promote internal participation though online communities and briefing calls
  • Promote externally by creating event landing pages on corporate website, email promotions, and coordinating social media promotions
  • Ship booth giveaways to show floor. Work with vendors to order banner stands or giveaways as-needed.
  • Post event management: lead review calls, upload leads to database and manage lead process, and post event KPIs

For internal hosted events:

  • Similar to 3rd party events, assist with venue selection, and all related services for the event, manager registrations, generate and distribute event promotions
  • Update the company's internal corporate marketing event plan, including the marketing dashboard and event tracking to include the most current schedule and status. Participate in cadence calls and provide metrics and event summaries for internal leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of experience working as an Event/Marketing Coordinator focused on end to end corporate events
  • Strong project management experience with ability to work within a highly cross-functional organization
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Trade show event experience is a plus
  • Experience working at a global organization is a plus
