Job summary

KAYAK is seeking a Data Science Manager to lead the Marketing Data Science team and shape measurement, experimentation, and analytics strategy. You will stay hands-on on key projects while coaching a team to turn insights into decisions that drive efficient growth.

You will collaborate with marketing, technology, and business partners to improve attribution, MMM, A/B testing, and LTV models, guiding budget allocation and channel strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data science teams in marketing analytics.
• Hands-on with statistical inference, experimentation, and causal inference (A/B testing).
• Strong Python and SQL skills with production or near-production modeling experience.
• Ability to communicate complex technical work to non-technical marketing/product teams.
• Familiarity with marketing measurement methods such as MMM, attribution, and LTV modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Marketing Data Science team and set goals.
• Define the team's roadmap aligned with company priorities across SEM, SEO, brand, and other channels.
• Own marketing experimentation process, test design, and statistical rigor.
• Develop measurement frameworks combining MMM, attribution, and incrementality.
• Oversee analytics for paid search, SEO, brand, and user journey metrics, guiding budget and strategy.
• Collaborate with data engineering, ML, and software teams to build scalable data products.
• Stay hands-on with modeling, analysis, and code review while transitioning to leadership.
• Monitor data privacy, marketing platform changes, and AI-driven search/ads.
